Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park is a Tanzanian national park located westward of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's largest city. Established in 1964, it is the fourth largest park in Tanzania, covering an area of 3,230 square kilometers (1,250 sq mi). The park is geographically connected to the Selous Game Reserve to the south, forming a vast wildlife sanctuary.
