Day by Day
How the journey unfolds
Day 1
Arrive in Arusha
Meet your guide and settle into a garden lodge with space to run off the flight.
Day 2
Tarangire
Elephants — lots of them. A gentle first game drive with a bush picnic beneath the baobabs.
Day 3
Lake Manyara & canopy walk
Morning game drive to spot tree-climbing lions, then Tanzania's treetop canopy walkway — a guaranteed hit with kids.
Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater
A full crater day with wildlife bingo: lions, flamingos, hopefully a rhino. Early back to the lodge pool.
Day 5
Maasai visit & on to Serengeti
Meet Maasai families and their cattle before descending onto the Serengeti plains.
Days 6–7
Serengeti
Two full family days on the plains — morning drives when animals are active, afternoons at camp with games, stories and swims.
Day 8
Fly home
A short bush flight (an adventure in itself) back to Arusha and onward connections.
